Another Great Weekend Thrifting!

Besides being rainy and cold at times, we had a great weekend this past weekend.  It was chaotic, as usual, but that seems to be our normal these days.

I spent Saturday morning couponing and going to a couple of Dollar Stores.  I was able to find some absolutely A-DORABLE farmhouse themed decor pieces.  If you haven’t checked your local Dollar General lately be sure to swing by there and check it out!  I was so excited because I found the infamous pig!

After attending our granddaughter’s 2nd birthday party we decided to hit a couple of thrift stores where I found a couple of candlestick holders that are in dire need of some upcycling.

On Sunday, we woke up and decided to head out to the indoor flea market in the neighboring town, especially since it was raining.  We also hit up the two Goodwills that were in the same area.  I hit the jackpot at all 3 locations.  I found some really cute pieces that I can put some mojo diy dust on and make into beautiful farmhouse themed pieces for my recently refurbished living room.

The day wasn’t quite over with yet and we had nowhere special that we had to be….so why not go to Michael’s?!?!?!   Of course we never turn down a chance to go to Michael’s.  I’m so glad that we did.  They had a great sale going on and I found a couple of clearance items that were super cute!!!
