The 4 Day Weight Loss Challenge!

If you read one of my previous posts (Starting My Weight Loss Journey..Again!), you know that I am on a mission to get healthy and fit this year, or at least before my wedding, which by the way we have now set a date for May of 2019.

I came across a 4 day weight loss challenge meme on facebook that I decided to try since it goes along with clean eating and seems fairly easy to do.  It is also for only 4 days at a time which should be totally doable.  As always, I will attempt this challenge beginning on Monday, April 2nd, and I will do an update at the end of the 4 days to let you know how I managed on it, what I ate, and any changes I’ve had pertaining to weight and measurements. 

The meal plan is pretty basic with chicken or fish, veggies, fruits, and water only to drink.  I think I can handle that.  The hard part for me, at least right now, is no sweets.  I have a sweet tooth that is a demon, no joke.  But I am ready to get control over that demon and do this!!

I’m sure it may not be drastic but any change is good change as long as it is decreasing in number….right?  I am also extending this challenge to all of you!  Comment below if you plan on doing this challenge with me, be sure to take note of your pre-challenge weight and managements so that you may share your changes with me in the followup post!!

    1. That is what I’m hoping for too GiGi…6 years ago I changed my eating lifestyle to something very similar to this and lost 70 lbs over a 6 month period. I’m hoping this will motivate me to get back to it!!

    1. Thank you! Yes, the sweet tooth has a major hold on me unfortunately. They say it takes 10 days to get the sugar out of your system…longest 10 days of my life!! LOL

  2. This does seem like an easy challenge to. It can actually be longer than four days for me because that’s all I eat anyway. As for the sweets the fruit should give you that sugar or what about flavored water. This always does the trick for me.

    1. I agree! I’m hoping this encourages me to continue past the 4 days. I think flavored water would work just as well as long as its not a sweetener. Good tip!!

  3. Good luck on your weight loss journey. I am sure if you stick to it you will lose some weight. I think I would have the hardest time giving up the diet soda. I am just not sure I could do that for any length of time.
